Dr. James Beuerlein, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. James is a Nashville native, and is proud to practice in his hometown. Along with his wife, Dr. Alissa, and two sons (and two dogs!), Dr. James is here to bring health to the community of East Nashville. After seeing the power of chiropractic in his early 20’s, when his life-long battle with severe seasonal allergies ended shortly after beginning his own spinal-corrective care, he knew this message of health had to be shared with others. This moment, when he saw the power of the body to heal itself if given the right support, is what inspired him to pursue chiropractic. He left the ministry career he loved to pursue chiropractic – developing the skills to heal with this hands, as well as his heart.

The call to service and ministry came in response to a near-death alcohol poisoning that happened at the age of 15. Following the experience, he was forced to face the fact that he could not live life only thinking of himself, and that God had saved his life for a reason. Since that time, he has made it his mission to show others the love and hope that transformed his own life.

James graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Biblical Languages from the University of Tennessee in 2007. His passion for language was born after spending a year in Mexico as a missionary between high school and college. All told, he has studied 12 languages and is fluent in several. After spending two years as a youth pastor and having his first encounter with chiropractic, he decided to go to Life University’s College of Chiropractic, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2014. He first practiced two years in Franklin, TN and then opened Chiro Nash in early 2016.

His vision is for Chiro Nash to not only be a source of healing, holistic wellness, and truth to his patients, but to have a much greater impact on the East Nashville community at large. He has been intentional about partnering with churches, non-profits, and businesses in East Nashville and Inglewood to support the good work already being done. Joining with the movement of Maximized Living, Dr. James aims to enact transformation in the city of Nashville and then the world.
